Cubs & The Environment #NaBloPoMo

Yesterday was a doozy! I went to a training session for Cub Scout leaders and spent the entire day outside, singing songs, learning safety procedures, learning how to cook outdoors without creating a huge mess (and using some creative recipes!), playing games, and learning planning procedures to help my Tiger Scouts get the most out of the program. It was a blast – but holy crap, was I cold afterwards!

So, yesterday I was thankful for the wonderful people who led the training as well as the awesome group who I experienced the training with – they all contributed to making it a fun, enjoyable experience.

We also learned how to leave as small a footprint as possible whenever we go to a natural space.
